C'est un lieu incroyable.
Je suis restée une semaine en dortoir et je ne regrette pas car cela m'a permis de profiter de ce lieu paisible et des fjords du Nord Ouest.
La maison est cosy et confortable (un peu bruillante quand il y a beaucoup de monde mais on s'y fait)
Il y a des randonnées qui partent de l'hôtel.
Les chambres sont confortables et les lieux communs fonctionnels et remplis d'histoire.
Je recommande un séjour de plusieurs nuits.

We came with a camping car in mid September. The main camping ground was open but facilities were closed already. So we could camp in front of the hostel and use facilities there. Very cozy. Only downside is that in front of the hostel there was no electricity. But on the regular camping site there would have been electricity. Warm shower and heated bathroom.

Piękne klimatyczne miejsce na odludziu, w przystępnej cenie. Właściciel miły i pomocny, poza sezonem naprawdę pusto. Hostel jest niewielki, ale ma wszystko co potrzebne, aby zatrzymać sie i wypocząć w najpiekniejszym miejscu na Ziemi, czyli Westfiordach (fakt, nie opinia). Polecam!

Review for the campsite: the camping guests do not share the kitchen facilities with the hostel guests. Instead, there's an old building that has a small kitchen and community room. It is spacious and has a well working WiFi. However, it was not heated at all and had a temperature around 9 degrees when we were there. This made staying there a bit uncomfortable compared to other campsites. We were the only guests but shared the kitchen with the owner's parrot 🦜.
There is one heated shower on the campground. The pricing is fair. The owner is super friendly ! The view on the mountains is unique.

Stayed twice and I will absolutely stay again next time I travel to the Westfjords. The house is cozy and located out of nowhere, it's a 5km gravel from road 60 but totally doable in a 2wd car. The scenery is breathtaking and it's possible to hike around the area. The facilities are clean, kitchen with all the stuff you need. The rooms are small but I had the fortune to sleep alone in both stays so no complaints. Wifi works well and the service from the owners and staff was fantastic.

Campingplatz in toller Natur, Strom auf Wunsch vorhanden für Camper, Toiletten sauber, gepflegt und mit warmen Wasser. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Küche kann im Hostel genutzt werden bei Bedarf. Wir fühlen uns hier wohl. Wir können diesen Campingplatz empfehlen für Menschen, die ihre Ruhe haben wollen. Die Zufahrt über die Schotterstraße ist kein Problem auch für normale Fahrzeuge. Vielen Dank das wir bei Ohnen Gästen sein dürfen.

It was an amazing experience, and the host was just equally amazing. Nothing negative about this place. What a STUNNING surrounding! One thing that could maybe be improved in the tent was the radiator. Not the most efficient radiator. However, nevertheless, 5/5!
