We have already stayed here for the fourth time as Aslaug is a very sympathetic host and serves a wonderful breakfast with homemade bread, jam, traditional Icelandic rice-pancakes, skyr, cheese etc ||Appartments are nicely furbished with a view to the sea, a lake and Bessastadir, a residence of the president. And the sea is less than 1km away. ||We will definitely come again 🙂

Right from the off, the communication with Áslaug was exceptional. She told us exactly everything we needed to know and aimed to accommodate our early morning flight into Iceland. ||The actual place itself is beautiful. Well appointed with all the amenities you could need. Cooker, microwave, kettle, coffee machine etc etc. the bed is super comfy and the shower is very hot and powerful. The views over the fields and amazing. You can see the sea from the room at the top and out towards Reykjavík the other side.||We were lucky to see an amazing northern lights show one night and even went out on the balcony to see it.||BREAKFAST - wow. What can I say that hasn’t already been said. Fresh yogurt, tomatoes, apples, granola, cakes, eggs and bread. We made rolls and sandwiches to take out for lunch from any left over items. Delivered anytime after 8am and she’s always on time! She even offered to make us something the night before as we had a super early flight on check out day.||We would love to go back. Thanks Áslaug for the most amazing experiences and hospitality that Iceland has to offer.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem superschönen Appartement sehr genossen. |Der Ausblick durch die vielen Fenster ein Traum! Für Nordlichter ein bisschen zu hell nachts durch die Nähe zu Reykjavik.|Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber, bequeme Betten, gut ausgestattet und der Knaller: eine Scheibe im Bad durch die mal raus- aber nicht reinschauen kann! |Sehr zentrale Lage um Ausflüge zu machen.||Auslauf, unsere Vermieterin ist sehr nett und super flexibel und wir können ihr Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Brot nur empfehlen!||Wenn wir uns etwas anders hätten wünschen können dann dass das Waschbecken im Bad etwas größer wäre 😉

We have traveled far and wide and have never stayed in an accommodation as wonderful as this. The rooms were spotless and well supplied. The bed and other furniture was very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional beyond all expectations. Our host provided breakfast each morning that included all sorts of wonderful Icelandic selections. Everything was fresh and delicious, and each morning presented us with new things to try. We had so much food that we packed our leftovers for lunches each day while we were out touring the countryside. There is no question that we will stay here on future trips to Iceland.

Ein wunderschönes und gut ausgestattetes kleines Appartement, in dem man sich wohlfühlt. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich. Die Aussicht war grandios mit dem großen Fenster, Umgebung lädt zum Spaziergang ein und in Reyklavik Zentrum waren wir in 17 Minuten. Das Frühstück war sensationell lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Unbedingt buchen, eine absolute Empfehlung!

This is our second time staying here and this time we stayed in the larger apartment. It was beautifully decorated and had everything you would need. Host Aslaug is lovely and makes the best breakfasts! We loved this place as a base for our exploring/activities. The bed was very comfy and the appartment was warm. It's within 7 minutes drive of a supermarket and has great views too.
We will definitely be back again!

Wir waren im Rahmen unserer Rundreise 4 Nächte am Anfang und nochmal 2 Nächte am Ende dort. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett,hatte gute Tips für uns und brachte uns täglich das beste Frühstück ans Appartement.Warmes Brot, Brötchen, Obst, Kuchen, Käse und vieles mehr. Einfach lecker 🥰. Das Appartement ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Nespresso Maschine mit Kapseln, Wasserkocher und Tee usw. Es liegt sehr schön in der Natur, nahe am Meer, nicht weit von Reykjavik (c.a. 15 Minuten) und mit eigenen Parkplätzen.|Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten, gerne auch länger.
