Þetta var æðislega gaman. Sáum forvitin sel, hnísur, lunda, fullt af öðum fuglum, flotta kletta og björg og svo auðvitað Míganda.
This was really fun. Saw a curious seal, harbour porpoises, puffins, lots of other birds, beautiful cliffs and rocks and, of course, Míganda waterfall.

Absolutely Incredible Jet Ski Tour – Highlight of My Trip

I found this jet ski tour completely by chance while on a road trip around Iceland. I hadn’t planned it or done any research just saw the signs, the weather was beautiful, and decided to stop by. Best spontaneous decision of the whole trip.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming right from the start. They explained the tour clearly, including all the safety rules, how the equipment worked, where we’d be going, what we might see, and even what to do if you fell off the jet ski. Everything was really well covered, which made me feel comfortable and excited.

As it turned out, a tour was starting in just five minutes, so they got me geared up and ready to go without any hassle. We were a small group which made it feel very personal. Everyone was able to handle the speed, and the guide was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, fun, and really in tune with the group.

The tour was supposed to be two hours, but we were out for about three, and no one was complaining—it was awesome. We saw puffins, seals, and even whales up close.

Another really great bonus: they take high-quality photos and videos of you throughout the tour and share them with you afterward completely free. It’s such a thoughtful touch—you don’t have to worry about trying to take pictures while riding, and you still end up with amazing memories to look back on.

The equipment was also top-notch. The dry suits, the jet skis—everything was high quality and well-maintained. You could tell they really care about what they do. From what I understand, this is the original jet ski tour company and it shows—they’re absolute pros.

This was hands-down one of the best tours I’ve done in Iceland—not just for the experience itself, but for how genuinely nice and professional everyone was. I can't recommend this tour enough. There are other companies out there, but if you're considering a jet ski tour, this is the one to book.

Highlight of our trip! Great for kids too. We were two adults with two children 7 & 9 years old. We started out cruising slowly along the rocky coast passing by a waterfall, puffins, seals, and lots of harmless jellyfish. Then we headed out over open water looking for whales. Out here you can drive much faster! The jet skis are full powered, not limited. We reached over 80 kmh with one adult and one child. We saw two whales briefly. This was a blast! The provided dry suits that kept us plenty warm, including children's' sizes. The boots worked well, which I was worried about due to my feet being cold sensitive, no issue.

Found Fairytale At Sea by chance and it looked like an amazing way to possibly see whales, dolphins, and puffins. Sadly we did not see any whales. We did see a seal and still had an incredible time riding the jet skis out of the fjord and to the waterfalls. The water conditions and weather was perfect. Absolutely recommend!

Gerade zurück von unserer gut 2-stündigen Tour mit dem Team von fairytail at sea in Ólaffsfjorður. Wir sind immer noch total begeistert. Die Ausrüstung und die Jetskies sind gepflegt und sehr gut gewartet. Die Basis gemütlich und zweckdienlich eingerichtet. Das Reiseleiter-Team ist ein absoluter Traum. Es wird sich ausführlich Zeit genommen für Erklärungen und alle sicherheitsrelevante und touristische Informationen und für das Anlegen der Schutzanzüge. Die Handhabung der JetSkies wird sehr gut erklärt und gestaltet sich viel leichter als erwartet. Der Reiseleiter hat immer ein genaues Auge auf einen und erklärt geduldig und freundlich alles Wesentliche. Die Tour ist landschaftlich atemberaubend schön. Immer an der Grenze zwischen Land und dem Meer auf Augenhöhe mit Wasservögel und Seehunden. Leider so früh in der Saison noch keine Wale und Papageientaucher, aber trotzdem haben wir keine Sekunde bereut. Ein herzliches Dank an die beiden Reiseleiter, auch für den urlustig und informativen Smalltalk am Rande. Definitiv eine Empfehlung und ein dickes Dankeschön für die schönen Aufnahmen von unserer Tour.
