Did the puffin and volcano tour, Ebbi was a great guide, took us to all placers to see on the small island, had a lot of jokes. Visited the puffins, so cute! Would take another tour with Ebbi any given time. Visited some real 'viking' houses, learned what 'sprangan' means, wnet to 'thez most windy place in Europe' Great tour!

Amazing tour! Highly recommend. Our tour guide was so much fun and humorous and entertained even my kids age 11 and 13. I learned so much on the tour and got to see all the great spots on the island. We saw lots of puffin, so that was definitely the highlight, but really the whole tour was a perfect thing to complete our trip to the island.

The Puffin & Volcano Tour with Ebbi is a must-do 2-hour tour in Vestmannaeyjar! Ebbi is so friendly, fun, entertaining & knowledgeable while taking you through his entire hometown. We got to enjoy the natural beauty & culture of Iceland including a tour into the Viking history. Super fun & unforgettable. Thank you Ebbi!

Wir waren im August 2025 auf der Insel Heimaey und haben die 14:30 Uhr Tour mit Ebbi gebucht. Ebbi hat uns einen authentischen Einblick in das Leben auf der Insel gegeben und uns toll über die Insel geführt. Ich glaube es gibt niemand besseren, um die Insel zu vertreten und es war eine richtig schöne Tour. Ebbi ist auch stets auf Fragen der Teilnehmer eingegangen. Wir hatten ursprünglich bedenken, ob es mit der 17 Uhr Fähre auch klappen würde, doch das war überhaupt kein Problem. Ganz im Gegenteil, es waren sogar ein paar Gäste eines Kreuzfahrtschiffs mit an Bord und Ebbi hat einen kleinen Umweg gemacht, um diese rechtzeitig direkt am Terminal aussteigen zu lassen. Für uns ging es dann ins zentrum, zeitlich mit mehr als genug Puffer für die Fähre.

Wer auf die Westman-Islands kommt, sollte auf jeden Fall auch die Tour mit Ebbi machen. Ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis.

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed Ebbi’s tour. His sense of humor, local roots, and easy style were greatly appreciated. My elementary school aged daughters loved learning about puffins and volcanos. Well worth the time and money, highly recommend for your consideration.

Wonderful tour! Worth doing if you come to Iceland! Learned a lot from Ebbi! He was quite funny and entertaining! Got to see so much of the island! And the puffins were so fun to see.
Also wanted to mention that we miss-estimated the time it would take to get to the island (based on the ferry times) and arrived 20 mins late due to this. They were kind enough to take us in another van to join the tour (that had already started), and we were so appreciative of that. We would have been so sad if we had missed it! Thank you for accommodating us!
Had some amazing pizza and beer after the tour, while we waited for our return ferry.
Be sure to check ferry timings before you book tour so you don’t make the same mistake we did!

While the tour is called Puffins and Volcanoes it was so much more. Our guide Ebbi was so knowledge and included a number of stops around the island. We were fully engaged from the time we stepped into the bus. We would highly recommend taking this tour. You will enjoy it.
