Ófærufoss er mjög glæsilegur. Ég kom þarna í góðu veðri sól og hita.
Gangan frá bílastæði er þægileg fyrir utan smá kafla þar sem fara þarf yfir grjóturð en það er engin hindrun,bara að fara varlega. Leiðin er stikuð. Fjallabaksleið nyrðri upp að bílastæði er allt í lagi
mikið betri en ég átti von á. Það tók mig rúmlega einn og hálfan tíma að ganga fram og til baka.

The best waterfall which I visited being on Iceland. Place is not crowder and less touristic that the other ones close to route no. 1.
Trekking path through Eldgjá was amazing and let you feel the power and volume of eruption.
If you are heading there from the south, you don’t need to cross the river (the one next to information point). You can leave ur car for free there and take a bit longer but gorgeous walk.

Amazing waterfall in the middle of nowhere. It looks different from all other ones in the island. Nice hiking to reach it into the canyon after leaving the car in a public parking.
IMPORTANT: only 4x4 cars not electric are allowed because you have to cross a small river

Amazing waterfall, also the walk there is stunning. For those who don’t want to cross rivers with the car, park your car just before the first river crossing, and hike at the left side of the river, note that it will easily take you 1,5 hours one way to get there, but it’s definitely worth it. Stunning hike

Bellissima cascata raggiungile con poco trekking. La strada per raggiungere il posteggio supera alcuni guadi. Richiesta auto 4x4.

Nice easy walk through the valley to this stunning waterfall - you can walk right up to the top and there is a platform to stand right over it!

There is an easy hike to the waterfall and back through the valley. However on the way there we hiked up to the cliffs and came down to the fall and came back through the valley. It gave us a good view off the whole valley.

Jolie cascade après une petite randonnée pour remonter la rivière.
Très peu de personne car sur une F-road.
