Et svært fint gjestehus. Rent og ryddig, store bad og kjøkken. God frokost som står klart i kjøleskapet, forskjellig pålegg, skiver, skyr, muffins og frukt. Hyggelige og behjelpelige ansatte. Hadde gjerne overnattet her igjen.

Our first time at this hotel. Great location at a lake yet very close to town. We needed an accessible room, upon arrival Max at the reception gave us the option to review several rooms to make sure my wife, who is mobility challenged was satisfied. She chose Room 402. He made her very happy. It had great view upon the lake, had a wonderful sitting area and heavenly beds. Large Bathroom . And being on the lakeside it was very quiet. We had dinner, which was well presented and tasty.Dining room was a bit noisy but not overly. We had the feeling everybody was having a good time. Breakfast was ample and varied. We should have stayed 2 nights. We highly recommend Lake Hotel and would like to come back for a 2 night stay.

Like most of the remote hotels in Iceland, this is a unique hotel with a very unique location: next to the lake. Beautiful interior, rustic, farm, and quiet place. It gives you that feeling: you are in a book of very old folks story with the antique pieces around the lobby and restaurant areas. The very special thing about this hotel: the very friendly and wonderful staff, smiling all the time, they have that fun spirit, and they are helpful in anytime we needed something. That made the efforts to wake us up to see the northern lights, not only one time, twice. The best staff I met them in this trip. Now, we go back to the rooms: specious, has all basic things you need: iron, ironing board, shampoo, but no body lotion again 😂 I think this is not a common thing in Iceland hotels. All the rooms have heaters. And the hotel is close to a supermarket and some restaurants. The food was good and the served was very good. I liked the place. What made this stay so special, we finally saw the Aurura from the hotel’s balcony😍

We booked this on the fly and were not disappointed. After a bunch of hours driving, we arrived here to find a very sweet hotel on the lake. The view out back said "come on in." The room is clean, spacious, quiet and comfy. We immediately hit the on site spa and sat on the hot tub for a while. We love the staff.

Pasamos una noche en este hotel en nuestra vuelta a Islandia. La verdad es que es curioso pues, a pesar de encontrarse en un sitio precioso pasó desapercibido. Al llegar a recepción no había nadie. Miramos y una persona del servicio que nos había visto al entrar estaba limpiando platos tras la recepción. Pasados un par de minutos y cuando tocamos la campanilla es cuando sale y dice que se seca las manos para atendernos. Y si no tocamos la campanilla?|Bueno, el hotel es bonito y agradable. Nos facilitaron una habitación en zona baja dando al lago. Habitación confortable con un solo problemilla, daba a una zona de paseo al lago y al no disponer de cortinas éramos el escaparate de los paseantes. Si cerrabas el foscurit te quedamos sin luz. El desayuno bastante bien. El servicio muy frío con lo cual desluce el resto. Calidad precio aceptable. Si lo recomiendo es por las instalaciones.

The hotel is ideally located to explore the East of Iceland and there is a variety of hiking around within a short drive . We wanted to concentrate on this area hence why we based ourselves here.||We stayed in a deluxe room which included access to the spa otherwise there is a separate charge. The room was very comfortable, serviced daily and certainly met expectations for this category of residence. The bed is very comfortable and there are excellent black out curtains in the room. ||Breakfast is good, herrings, salmon, peppers with a selection of seeds , dried fruit so I was more than content. The buttermilk here is excellent as were the chia slices ( my name for these). ||We had dinner here twice and the ingredients were of a high quality, dishes well presented and were extremely tasty. Wine selection small yet decent. |Happy hour of course.||Plenty of parking available.||Easy walk into town for facilities.||Fabulous stay and would recommend.

Only stayed one night but it was a pleasant stay. Staff were lovely and patient when we were locked out of our room and then set the alarm off in the spa because we misunderstood the directions! We booked a queen room with lake view and it was lovely. Everything it was advertised to be. Breakfast was great with both hot and cold items s. Mini fridge in room was helpful and hotel provided ice for our in-room use. Would stay here again. We ordered a lunch box to go and it had two very good sandwiches and plenty of other items to keep us going on our drive the following day including the most delicious chocolate coconut ball!

這次入住Lake Hotel給我留下非常難忘的回憶。整體環境溫馨舒適，讓人一踏進大廳就感受到家的氛圍。房間佈置簡單卻不失細緻，窗外一片靜謐的田園景色，令人放鬆心情。飯店後方有一座靜靜的湖泊，白天可以散步欣賞自然風光，晚上則成為觀賞極光的最佳地點。當夜幕降臨，極光在湖面上倒映出夢幻的色彩，讓人感覺宛如置身童話世界。除了優美的景色，早餐更是令人驚喜，食材新鮮，口味清爽又美味，種類豐富，展現了農場經營飯店的用心。整體住宿體驗不僅舒適，也充滿自然與人情味，是一個能真正放慢腳步、享受生活的好地方。如果有機會，我一定會再回來，再次體驗這份貼近自然的溫暖與感動。
