Goede locatie, grote kamer. Er is alleen maar 1 gedeelde badkamer met 3 slaapkamers. Dit was bij ons te weinig, een van de andere koppels bezette vaak de badkamer. Ook als we klopten kwamen ze er niet uit, wat heel vervelend is. Je moet dus geluk hebben met je huisgenoten. Keuken prima in orde. Locatie is top, pal in het centrum. Check in ging vlot op afstand.

This is a great cheap guesthouse located on the main shopping street in Akureyri.||The rooms are rather large and have large windows facing the street. The beds are old but comfortable and everything is very clean. There is a communal toilet for each floor along with a fully furnished kitchen. There is no elevator but the stairs aren´t too steep. The WiFi was surprisingly good. There are no TVs or radios in the rooms. The staff only spoke english.||The location is the best feature of this guesthouse but because of that you have to park rather far away.

Nous devions être dans un Airbnb et nous avons été relogés ici suite à un petit souci avec notre hôte.

Le lieu est hyper bien situé, pratique pour tout faire à pieds (en même temps, Akureyri n'est pas très grand...). Il n'y avait personne sur place, ce qui a rendu l'accès au lieu un peu compliqué :/ On n'a pas eu de réponse tout de suite mais finalement tout s'est bien passé.

Notre chambre était grande et propre. La salle de bain et les toilettes étaient propres, mais sans plus. La cuisine était petite mais assez bien équipée.

C'était un peu bruyant sur le temps du matin car nous étions en face de la cuisine, mais je pense pas que ce soit dû à l'auberge (plutôt à certaines personnes qui ne savent pas trop évoluer en communauté :/)

Bref, si vous passez à Akureyri, vous y loger sans problème. Même si je ne recommande pas vraiment de passer une nuit dans cette ville, il n'y a pas grand chose à faire.

I stayed at the guesthouse with my grandmother and her friend on July 9-13th. We had two rooms, both very cosy, clean and nice. Only thing was in one room there was no place to hang your clothes or any drawers to put them in, other than that everything was very nice. We enjoyed the discount at the bakery downstairs and had breakfast there each morning. The location was perfect, right on the Main Street and close to everything which was nice since I was traveling with 80 year old women. |The price was very good, especially compared to how expensive accommodation can be in Iceland. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse :)|

We enjoyed our one night stay at Guesthouse Akureyri. The room was as trendy as the photos show and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy and the hotel is conveniently located in the downtown of Akureyri so it’s easily walkable to the harbor, shops, and restaurants. Our only small issue was that being on the bottom floor we had a lot of loud scrapping noises (like moving furniture) above us. This only happened before bed and when we woke up so it wasn’t a problem and the hotel thoughtfully provides ear plugs if needed.

Bien située, dans la rue principale, grand parking à quelques mètres, très bon accueil et lieux propres. Cuisine, WC, douche à chaque étage. Le nombre de chambres est limité, ça reste un lieu calme Je recommande cette adresse à ceux qui souhaitent faire étape dans cette jolie ville.
