Staðsetningin hentaði okkur vel, heimilislegt "sveitahótel". Allt að lifna við eftir C19.||Reyndar var check out tími kl.12:00 og fyrst var komið og reynt að þrífa fyrir kl:10.. og svo var komið um 11:45 og reynt að reka okkur út og sagt að við ættum að vera farin kl:12 og klukkan væri meira... (þrifafólkið þarf að stilla klukkuna sína) .. hef aldrei lent í þessu áður og fannst það ekki þægilegt-að láta henda mér út!!!||Mun alveg koma aftur fyrir þetta verð.

Hotel facile da raggiungere. Magnifica atmosfera della proprietaria che ci ha dato ottimi consigli sulle attività della zona. Colazione abbondante e molto varia e consigliatissima. Comodo parcheggio. Consigliamo letti con materassi singoli. Camere ampie e molto luminose fornite di bollitore, bustine per il tè, zucchero. Nella zona comune un grande frigo e un microonde. Bagni un poco retrò con vasca da bagno ma in contesto vintage.

The room was warm, clean and there was a great view out of the window. We had a sink, a fridge, a microwave and a kettle. The staff were friendly and check in was easy. We enjoyed the bar area for a couple of nights. There a plenty of shops for supplies nearby as well as a petrol station and a bakery. This is a great place for people who want a quiet base to explore the area or who are just stopping by.

Easy to get to from the airport and close to the capital. Parking no problem. Clean, comfortable room. Can get hot so kept window open which was fine. One minute walk to a very nice big, clean KFC. 2 min walk to Dominos and some other fast food. Lovely bakery/coffee shop where the entrance to the supermarket is. The inside of every shop, cafe is much nicer than here. Northern lights faint when we were there but got good photos at the hotel. Would stay again.

We stayed as a home education trip for my son. He's 14 and was able to independently go to the nearby shops to try bakeries etc. Everyone spoke fluent English which helped a lot. Everywhere was really clean and there was lots of parking and tea bags topped up every day. Right next to the bus stop to get into the capital easily. Was just lovely.

The hotel was brilliant. We had a lovely big room with an amazing view from the balcony and we were able to experience the stunning northern lights from the hotel! The hotel is fantastic value and has all that you need for a great stay, perfectly located close to amazing attractions. I highly recommend!

Lovely little hotel. The proprietor is also lovely. Great view of mountains out the window and were able to see northern lights from here. Very clean room. Very well located if you are hiring a car and driving round the golden circle. Great bakery, supermarket nearby and also a good kfc.

Comfy, clean , tidy , welcoming staff lovely place and good location. |Breakfast is basic , |Telly didn’t work asked the staff no help. |Rooms were boiling no way to turn heating down . |Hot tub is not for use as stated and the private hire is a must do if you want to use it not just if you want privacy and at a cost of 5,500isk is extremely expensive
