A fianco del campeggio passa la N1, per cui si sentono le macchine. Il prato fangoso. Quattro bagni in totale, di piccolissime dimensioni con wc e lavandino. Lavandini per lavare stoviglie sono all’aperto, non c’è un locale cucina. Prezzo alto (2000 isk a testa) per i servizi offerti

The view is pretty good but the camping grounds are right next to a street, the toilets are falling apart and there's no showers.
Communal sink area for washing dishes, no hot water tho. If you walk along the "lake" there's some pretty spots for taking pictures and nice walks.

Stayed here recently after a long drive in not so great weather. Would have stayed somewhere else if at all possible. Hubby was too tired to keep driving. Agree with many other reviewers here. I would give zero stars if possible. Nothing works; power hookups are dead; bathrooms/showers locked; dumping station has been full for who knows how long; no one even showed up to collect payment per signage. Seems like this campsite has been abandoned for some time.

Small campground just off the highway. There are some bathrooms and a small beach to walk around. There are not many spots to park in but we only used it for an overnight stay.

The washroom cabin/stalls were super cramped/small and one toilet seat was broken. You literally could only turn once inside. One toilet was messy and the kitchen was unkept with a bunch of junk but I guess that’s due to careless campers.

I took one look at the limited facilities and decided to drive half an hour to Akranes for a MUCH BETTER campsite for the same price. (There is also a half hour north campsite on a farm that might have better facilities than this campsite)

They used to charge 1800 and then crossed it out on the sign and put 2000. IMO they’re charging too much for what they offer. At that price, drive to a different campsite and get more for your money.

This is pretty rustic like campsites back home but for Iceland when there are so many campsites with better facilities, go elsewhere unless you need to stay in this area for some reason.

The only positives is its proximity to Borgarnes of course and the view on the water is nice. Didn’t drive onto the field so I can’t attest to how easy or challenging it was to find flat ground.

Price wasn’t listed anywhere, turns out it’s 2000 ISK per person, for a campsite with no kitchen, no shower, and a bathroom without a working lock. A lot of other reviews mentioned the noise from the road - it didn’t really bother us, but the bathrooms are pretty far from the camping area which was inconvenient. Terrible value for the price you pay, beautiful sunset at night though!
