We absolutely loved our 3 night stay here. The room was incredibly cosy with everything we needed. We slept so well! The host and staff are so lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was a lovely experience - it was great to sit and chat to other guests. There was fresh bread and cake every morning, which was delicious! The location is perfect, right next to everything! We would love to stay again.

I had been meaning to give a review. Stayed at Reykjavik Treasure from Dec 29-Jan 2. Location is perfect especially if you’re not renting a car. It’s centrally located and it’s walking distance to all shops and restos and mostly sites in the city. Bus stop 1 is about 5 minute walk— this is where you’ll be picked up and dropped off on your tours. Bus stop 3 is also about 7-9 min walk and it’s not that far either. Our room was spacious. Part of the living has heated flooring and the bed was comfy. We also had a washer in the bathroom and the place was clean. Unlimited sulfuric hot water for showering. ( good for your skin haha) unlimited potable glacier cold water ( make sure you put faucet on cold setting ). Steinunn was very accommodating and really friendly and sweet. Breakfast is excellent! She will pack your breakfast if early tour was scheduled. Valentina was sweet too. They were both receptive and helpful. If you thought this place is a little pricey for your budget, I think it’s well worth it. Reykjavík is beautiful. Iceland is magical and I’d go back over there in a heartbeat! Rye bread is excellent btw

Habitación muy antigua y ninguna insonorización. Almohadas malas.|Pasamos toda la noche escuchando a los clientes de la habitación de arriba.|El suelo crujía con cada paso que daban.||El suelo estaba muy deteriorado y alguna zona de pared con humedades o sin terminar de arreglar.||El personal de desayuno muy amable y la ubicación muy centrica.

Location is perfect for tourism and the sober but cosy looks of it are nice. But soundproofing is inexistant and the steps of other guests coming in in the night and leaving in the early morning hours, plus the sounds of running waste water, made it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. To be fair, it might be better on the upper floor.

Wir waren von diesem charmanten B&B im Herzen von Reykjavik begeistert. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, es ist sehr sauber und zentral gelegen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls wunderbar und wir bekamen dazu gleich noch viele wertvolle Tipps was wir in Reykjavik und der Umgebung unternehmen können. Herzlichen Dank für alles.

We visited Reykjavik at Winter Solstice ‘22 during a big snowstorm. Had an upstairs end room that was very comfortable and cozy and had a great view. Holiday decorations all over the downtown were magical. It’s a very walkable downtown even in the snow. The owner Steinunn was so nice and helped us plan out our days with maps and helpful suggestions. All the comments about fabulous breakfasts are true, we were blown away! Thanks for a very memorable trip, hope to see you again.

The Reykjavik Treasure B&B is a great place to stay. Fantastic location, all of the sights of the city are within an east walk, loads of great restaurants and places to eat. It’s easy to get to the bus station too for tours.||The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable. The whole place has a lovely relaxed vibe to it. Breakfast was delicious, varied & really fresh. We loved chatting to Steinhumm the host every day at breakfast, she had lots of great recommendations to give and insight into life in Iceland. She even made us a packed breakfast to take to the airport on our last day as our flight was early. ||Can’t recommend this place highly enough for a cosy stay.

In terms of location and hospitality, it was quite good. The rooms however were a bit tiny and the breakfast wasn't as lavish, although fresh. The hosts were helpful and welcoming. I wouldn't mind staying here again in future on another trip in the summers perhaps! Note that you've to park in the paid city parking spots as the bnb itself doesn't have provision for the same.
