One of my favourite artists in Iceland, his concept is art as therapy with the motto of "HE WHO FEARS DEATH CAN NOT ENJOY LIFE" which I think anyone can related to once they've contemplated their life. Jón is so friendly and passionate and always happy to talk to visitors! He has recently moved locations and his new gallery is most certainly worth a visit!

This is an amazing place. With original paintings of the artist, who is out back and I got the privilege to speak with him and about his work. The lady working on the shop floor is also very knowledgeable and a relation to the artist, and she is a very kind and interesting lady to speak too, she is non judgemental and knows a lot about all the pieces on sale, from original art, canvas pieces and t-shirts. I bought a t-shirt there and I love it very deeply and will treasure it for the rest of my life.
Please take opportunity to visit this place, it's a bit Hidden and you go up a ramp from the street. You will see a butterfly with an öm symbol outside painted on the wall. Recommended place ++++

A gallery with interesting paintings and T-Shirts by one artist himself. If you are not afraid of skulls I recommend visiting this unique gallery. Quite thought provoking for many among us: If you are afraid of death you won’t enjoy life.

Versteckt in einem Hinterhof muss man diese kleine aber feine Galerie schon etwas suchen - oder eben zufällig finden. Der Künstler ist ein Unikat, seine Shirts sind genial und die Kunstwerke wunderbar düster.

If you’re ever in Reykjavik and you’re into art do yourself a favor and stop by. Artist is very friendly and will talk with you about his work. And if you’re a fan of the band Of Monsters and Men, he did the album covers for Fever Dream.
